Our take

My only gripes: it's entirely plastic, so it feels a bit light, and the cord mechanism can be stiff at first. Also, the twist-off lid sometimes takes a bit of effort to seal properly. That said, it does a solid job on onions and herbs. For $45, it's a handy backup, but don't expect it to replace a full-size electric model.
